Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most sessions are approximately 50 minutes long.

  • Treatment frequency depends on severity of symptoms and your own goals. However, most often clients meet with us once per week. Regular therapy attendance is important in the success of treatment.

  • I am considered an in-network provider with the following insurance plans:

    • Blue Cross Blue Shield (including federal plans)

    • United Healthcare

    • Cigna

    For other carriers, you can check to see if your insurance plan offers “out of network” coverage for mental health. If so, you may be eligible to receive some reimbursement through your insurance after you submit a superbill, if you choose to submit an out-of-network claim to insurance. We will provide you with a “superbill” (a detailed invoice) that you can submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement.

  • The out-of-network or private pay fee for a 50 minute session is $210. A superbill will be provided upon request.

    Our practice is in-network with the insurance carriers listed below, and we provide courtesy billing directly to the carrier. Clients are responsible for any deductible and co-pays according to their insurance plan.

  • All major credit cards are accepted as payment. Session fee is due at the time of service.

  • Treatment length varies by individual treatment plan. If you have concerns about treatment length, please let us know. Clinical impressions will be discussed any time a client requests to stop, resume, or reduce session frequency.

  • Most commonly, treatment is provided for anxiety (worry, perfectionism), depression, stress, life transitions, stress management, and relationship challenges. Treatment is also offered to parents who have concerns about their child’s behavior.

    However, treatment for other conditions may be available. If it is determined that we are not the right fit for your needs, we are happy to connect you with referrals who may better fit your needs.

  • The current clinic hours are: Sundays from 3pm - 9pm, Mondays from 5-9pm, Tuesdays from 1pm-9pm, Wednesdays from 5pm-9pm, and Thursdays from 1pm-9pm.

  • If you need to cancel a session for any reason, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Otherwise, you will be charged a no-show/late cancel fee of $100.
